About the Qualification – TLI31222

This is a qualification for those engaged in driving operation job roles within the transport and logistics industry.

It involves a defined range of skilled operations, usually within a range of broader related activities involving known routines, methods, and procedures, with some discretion and judgement in selecting equipment, services, or contingency measures and within known time constraints.

Job roles and titles vary across different sectors.

Packaging Rules – 15 Units consisting of 5 Core, 1 Driver Awareness  and 9 Electives

Core Units – All Core units must be completed and cannot be changed.

• Carry out vehicle inspection
• Operate commercial vehicle
• Shift materials safely using manual handling methods
• Follow work health and safety procedures
• Apply fatigue management strategies.

Driver Awareness Units

• Apply low risk car driving behaviours
• Apply low risk heavy vehicle behaviours

• Work safely as a non-electrical licensed worker near electrical assets.
• Identify and respond to hazards and emergencies in waste management.
• Undertake site inspection.
• Operate heavy vehicle on unsealed roads.
